Coenzyme Q10, also known as "ubiquinone", is a compound found in practically every single cell of our body, and it plays a decisive role in the production of cellular energy and muscular power. The heart, in particular, relies on a sufficient coenzyme Q10 supply to work properly. Coenzyme Q10 can be synthesised by our body and be taken up from coenzyme Q10-rich food such as meat and fatty fish, and is found in vegetable oils and nuts to a lesser extent.
