MATCHPOST is RTD’s basic glass fibre post design that has an apical taper, and a parallel coronal section for strength in the critical cervical area. In addition, the surface of the post is micro-mechanical, for excellent bonding and long-term retention. Available in four sizes, the Matchpost is RTD’s most economical system.

Why use Matchpost Fibre Posts?

• Elastic Modulus (13 GPa) like dentin, for mechanical compatibility with tooth structure, prevention of root fracture
• Proprietary glass fibres, provide high strength, fatigue resistance and radiopacity (200% of Al), for resistance, peace of mind
• As a fibre-reinforced composite, it cannot corrode and it has passed biologic safety tests
• Tapered apical section conserves dentin
• The parallel coronal section provides maximum strength in the cervical and restorative zones
