IPS e.max ZirCAD for Cerec/inLab LT C17
IPS e.max ZirCAD LT are pre-shaded, monochromatic zirconium oxide blocks suitable for use in the dental laboratory and the dental practice. They are used to fabricate full-contour crowns and 3-unit bridges. The high strength of 1.200 Mpa* allows low wall thickness (posterior crowns 0.6mm, anterior crowns 0.4mm) and tooth-preserving preparation. After wet processing in the PrograMill One, the restorations are sintered e.g. Programat CS4. For glazing, the fluorescent IPS e.max CAD Crystall/Glaze Paste Fluo is available. Optionally, the restorations can be characterized using IPS e.max CAD Crystall/Shades and Stains. IPS e.max ZirCAD restorations are cemented with e.g. SpeedCEM Plus.

IPS e.max ZirPress Refill HT
IPS e.max ZirPress ingots are comprised of fluorapetite glass and used for the press over zirconia technique.
HT ingots
These highly translucent ingots are ideally suitable for fully anatomical pressing over zirconium oxide frameworks (staining technique). The Characterization and Glaze firing is subsequently conducted using the IPS Ivocolor stains assortment. If adjustments are required, the IPS e.max Ceram layering materials can be used.

IPS e.max ZirPress MO (Medium Opacity) Ingots
The fluorapatite glass-ceramic ingots are indicated to press on IPS e.max ZirCAD and other ZrO2 frameworks with a CTE of 10.5 to 11.0.
IPS e.max ZirPress facilitates the working procedures especially for long-span restorations due to the detailed esthetic ceramic reproduction of the wax-up. IPS e.max ZirPress ingots are available in three levels of opacity and in A-D and four Bleach BL shades. Additionally, two Gingiva shades are available. Since several ingots can be pressed in the IPS Investment Ring System together, they are available in only one size. Individual characterization or veneering is carried out using the IPS e.max Ceram Stains or layering materials.
MO ingots
With the MO ingots (medium opacity), accurately fitting ceramic shoulders, bridge pontics and the cervical third are pressed before the restoration is layered to completion using IPS e.max Ceram.

These two ingots facilitate the fabrication of the gingival portion of the restoration, especially in large (implant-retained) restorations, since the material does not shrink and the number of ceramic firings can be reduced.
For processing of IPS e.max ZirPress in the EP3010 and EP5010 press furnaces, the two investment materials IPS PressVEST and IPS PressVEST Speed are available.

IPS e.max ZirPress
IPS e.max ZirPress are fluorapatite glass-ceramic ingots indicated to press on IPS e.max ZirCAD and other ZrO2frameworks with a CTE value between 10.5 and 11.0. IPS e.max ZirPress facilitates the working procedures especially for multi-unit restorations due to the detailed esthetic ceramic reproduction of the wax-up.
IPS e.max ZirPress ingots are available in two levels of opacity and in A-D and four Bleach BL shades. Moreover, two Gingiva shades are available. Since several ingots can be pressed in the IPS Investment Ring System together, they are available in only one size. Individual characterization or veneering is carried out using the IPS Ivocolor stains or the IPS e.max Ceram layering materials.
LT ingots
These ingots with low translucency are ideally suitable for the cut-back technique, but also for the staining technique. After the partial press-over, the incisal area is individually completed using the IPS e.max Ceram materials. The restorations are characterized using universal stains assortment IPS Ivocolor.
Gingiva ingots
These two ingots facilitate the fabrication of the gingival portion of the restoration, especially in large (implant-supported) restorations, since the material does not shrink and the number of ceramic firings can be reduced. The actual layering of the restoration is conducted with IPS e.max Ceram layering materials with the exact accuracy of fit of the gingival area being maintained.

IPS e.max Press MT
New level of brightness for pressed restorations
Introducing IPS e.max Press MT: a new lithium disilicate ceramic ingot for the press technique
Ivoclar Vivadent extends the range of press ingots to include a new level of translucency. The new IPS e.max Press MT are monochromatic ingots of the medium translucency range. They consist of the tried-and-tested lithium disilicate glass-ceramic material and ensure clinical long-term success and flexibility during cementation.
The new monochromatic lithium disilicate (LS2) ingots belong to the medium translucency (MT) range and close the gap between the proven HT and LT ingots. The MT ingots are intended for restorations requiring a significantly higher brightness level than HT restorations. Given their reduced chroma, these ingots offer room for creativity to individualize the cervical region of restorations and achieve a natural-looking transition between dentin and enamel. The ingots are available in two sizes in selected Bleach BL and A-D shades. They are suitable for fabricating restorations using the staining or cut-back technique and are recommended for the following applications:
• occlusal veneers (table tops),
• thin veneers and veneers,
• partial crowns and crowns, and
• three-unit bridges (up to the second premolar as the terminal abutment).
Users will benefit from a high-strength material (400 MPa) that ensures clinical long-term success and affords them the possibility of using a conventional cementation technique to seat IPS e.max Press restorations, depending on the indication. Given the natural level of brightness, the material allows less translucent tooth areas to be faithfully reproduced and enables the restorations to optimally integrate into the existing natural dentition.
The new IPS e.max Press MT ingots replace the existing IPS e.max Press Impulse Value ingots. The IPS e.max Press Impulse Opal ingots are not affected by this change and will remain part of the range.
IPS e.max® is a registered trademark of Ivoclar Vivadent AG.
