IPS e.max Ceram
IPS e.max Ceram is suitable for efficient standard layering as well as for demanding high-end layering with lifelike play of light. The classic Dentin and Incisal materials are ideally coordinated with more opaque all-ceramic framework structures and thus are ideally suitable for the veneering of more opaque substructures. Brightness and chroma are balanced. Therefore, an optimum shade match with the A-D shade guide is achieved.
Versatile materials
The Dentin and Incisal materials are available in A-D, Chromascop and Bleach shades. If a higher degree of brightness is desired, IPS e.max Ceram Power Dentin and Power Incisal materials are available in A-D and Bleach shades. Expressive and versatile characterizations can also be realized with the universal staining system IPS Ivocolor and the Essence materials, shape pastes and glaze from IPS e.max Ceram.

IPS e.max Ceram Power materials have been designed with today’s all-ceramic products in mind. In the past, the goal of layering was to add translucency and depth to opaque frameworks. Now, with the high strength and highly translucent materials on the market, adding translucent layering ceramic can often lead to a grayish appearance. IPS e.max Ceram Power powders have been formulated for application on translucent structural ceramics such as lithium disilicate and zirconia and help to keep value levels high to meet dentist and patient requirements. The Power materials may also be added to opaque substructures for increased brightness when the situation demands it.

IPS e.max Ceram Opal Effect 20g
The Opal Effect materials are available in six shade gradations. Starting with Opal Effect 1, with naturally enhanced opalescence and simultaneous high translucency, the brightness value between Opal Effect 2 and Opal Effect 4 is continuously increased. Opal Effect 5 then demonstrates the typical opal shade. The Opal Effect violet material is used to reduce the brightness value in the incisal area.
